The hotel is conveniently located near Diagonal Avenue and shopping areas. The rooms, although a bit tired with stained carpets and areas around the bath needing attention, offer a good range of foods for breakfast, including freshly cooked omelettes. The service is great, with staff going above and beyond, but there were delays in reservations. The location is excellent, with easy access to local shops and restaurants. The dining experience, despite being disturbed by tour bus crowds, offers a wide variety of breakfast dishes. The facilities are functional and cater to most needs.
The hotel offers bright and spacious rooms with separate shower cubicles and good-sized baths, making them very comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and accommodating. However, there were issues with the sheets not being changed during the stay.
I had a wonderful stay at the Melia Sarria. The rooms were exceptional, offering a lovely city view at 11pm, and very comfortable amenities. The service was top-notch, with staff being very friendly and always ready to assist. The hotel's location was perfect, being close to key attractions like Ramblas and Paseig De Gracia but lacked stylish design, and the room for improvement can be found in the dining options, as the breakfast choices were somewhat limited.
The hotel exceeded my expectations with its amazing location near most touristic sites and excellent proximity to the city center. The rooms were comfortable but a bit small for two electric wheelchairs. The service was impeccable despite a slight delay during check-in. The dining experience was exceptional with a wide variety of dishes, but the location is not as convenient for those needing quick access to the metro station.
When I arrived at 4 pm, my room wasn't ready, and no drink was offered as I waited, which was a bit disappointing for a supposed 5-star treatment. However, the room itself was lovely despite being a bit noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful, but there was no complimentary water upon check-in, having to order from room service instead.
The hotel location is not bad, situated in a calm business district away from the tourist crowds, though not in the historical center. The rooms were tired, and the noise from outside, like ambulances and motorcycles, easily disturbed my 1-year-old child. The service was attentive and prompt, addressing any issues with care and diligence, though room-wise, it was not possible to change to a quieter room. The dining experience was acceptable for its cost but not at a 5-star standard.
The hotel room was not ready when we arrived, and unfortunately, it was located next to a noisy elevator. However, the night was somewhat pricey despite including a safe, both a shower and bath. The service was a bit of a mixed bag with excellent reception staff and doorman but unhelpful personnel regarding room change requests. The location, while initially startling, turned out to be excellent for accessing public transportation and had a residential neighborhood feel. The dining experience didn't meet my expectations at this 5-star place, although it offered lactose-free options and an impressive cheese and charcuterie selection.
The hotel offers very spacious and comfortable rooms, but they are not soundproofed, which can be loud especially in the morning. Unfortunately, the rooms are too small to accommodate two disabled wheelchairs for electric wheelchairs. The service is top-notch with friendly and helpful staff members. The location is great for a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle, but not ideal for sightseeing or shopping. The dining options are impressive with a wide variety of choices. Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent service and dining, but with some room limitations and a quieter location.
